MASTER OF ARTS IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

This programme is designed for participants who are either middle level managers (Public administrators) in Central Government Ministries and Departments, Local Governments and Non-governmental Organizations or who aspire to occupy such posts. Apart from gaining the relevant knowledge and skills in Public Management, participants will leave the course with their attitudes changed positively towards efficiency, effectiveness and dedicated service to the public.
The course is a four semester postgraduate and post-experience programme. It is designed to increase technical and professional knowledge and skills in Public Management applicable in Government Ministries and Departments, Local Government, Parastatal Bodies and NGOs. The course is modularized to enable participants to study at their convenience by either completing the whole course in 2 years or by completing its modules over a period of 2 years then embark on the research work for one academic year.
